Wildhorse Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Velma, Oklahoma.
Wildhorse Golf Course first opened for play in 1966. The course was designed by Buddy Pearson.
Wildhorse Golf Course is a hilly course has well-manicured greens. Water hazards (several ponds) come into play on eight holes. The greens vary in size between large and small, and are slightly sloped.
The Wildhorse Golf Course plays to a 9-hole par=35 and maximum 9-hole distance of 3,037 yards. There is an additional set of men's tees that can be used when double looping for an eighteen hole round. The signature hole at Wildhorse is #5, a 115-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot to an island green.Oklahoma

For the price it is a wonderful little course, the common dog legs and blind shots make the course challenging for the mid to high handicap player. The conditions of the greens made for near impossible long puts. I will definitely play it again because of its convenience and price.
